    Terms & Conditions

    Last updated: June 2026

These are the terms and conditions for Honeyrock ("we," "us," "our"). By working with us or using our services, you agree to these terms. We've written them in plain English because life's too short for impenetrable legal waffle — but they are legally binding, so please do read them.

If you have any questions about anything below, just get in touch before you sign up. We'd rather answer a question upfront than have a misunderstanding later.

    1. Who We Are

Honeyrock is a website and lead system provider for local service businesses, trading as Honeyrock Ltd, based in the United Kingdom.

You can contact us at: hello@honeyrock.co

    2. What These Terms Cover

These terms apply to all services provided by Honeyrock, including:

    • Website design and build
    • The Honeyrock plans
    • Lead capture and CRM systems
    • Automated follow-up and messaging tools
    • AI chat and phone receptionist features
    • Review management
    • Booking and calendar integration
    • Any other services we agree to provide

When we refer to "the Services" in these terms, we mean all of the above.

    3. The Agreement Between Us

When you sign up for a Honeyrock plan and pay your setup fee, a contract is formed between you and Honeyrock based on:

    • These Terms & Conditions
    • The plan you've chosen and its listed features
    • Any written confirmation or proposal we've provided

If there's ever a conflict between a specific written proposal and these general terms, the written proposal takes precedence.

    4. Setup Fee and Monthly Subscriptions

Setup fee Setup fee A one-time setup fee is charged at the start of your engagement with Honeyrock. This covers the design, build, and configuration of your website and associated systems. The setup fee is non-refundable once work has commenced.

Monthly subscription Monthly subscription Your monthly subscription begins 30 days after your setup fee is charged. This gives us time to build and launch your website before your first monthly payment is due — so you're only paying for the service once it's up and running. Subscriptions are then billed monthly in advance on the same date each month thereafter.

Pricing Our current pricing is published on our website. We reserve the right to change our pricing for new clients at any time.

Existing clients are grandfathered at the monthly rate they joined on. This means that if we increase our prices, your monthly subscription rate will not change — you'll continue to pay the price you originally agreed, for as long as your subscription remains active and in good standing.

The only exception to this is if our underlying platform or third-party tool costs increase materially and unavoidably, in which case we reserve the right to pass on a proportionate increase with a minimum of 60 days' written notice. We'll always explain the reason clearly and keep any such increase as small as possible. If an increase of this kind isn't acceptable to you, you're free to cancel before it takes effect with no penalty.

Your grandfathered rate applies to your current plan. If you choose to upgrade to a higher plan, your new rate will be the current published price for that plan at the time of upgrading.

Payment Payment is collected by direct debit or card via our payment provider. If a payment fails, we'll let you know and give you five working days to resolve it before any service interruption occurs. We're not trying to catch anyone out — just making sure the admin is clear.

    5. Cancellation

Your right to cancel There are no long-term contracts with Honeyrock. You can cancel your monthly subscription at any time by giving us written notice (an email is fine). Your cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period — we don't offer refunds for partial months.

What happens when you cancel When your subscription ends, we'll transfer ownership of your website domain (if we registered it on your behalf) to you. Access to the Honeyrock platform, lead systems, automations, and associated tools will cease at the end of the billing period.

Any content, copy, or design work created during your subscription remains the property of Honeyrock until all outstanding payments have been settled.

Our right to cancel We reserve the right to cancel your subscription if:

    • Payment has not been received within 14 days of the due date despite reasonable attempts to collect it
    • You use our services in a way that breaches these terms or applicable law
    • We determine, at our sole discretion, that we are no longer able to provide the services to the required standard

In the event that we cancel without cause on our part, we'll refund any prepaid subscription fees for the unused period.

    6. What We'll Do

We'll build your website to a professional standard, configured for your specific business. We'll maintain it, keep it secure, and make sure it works properly throughout your subscription.

    Specifically, we commit to:

    • Delivering your website within the agreed timeframe (typically one week from your onboarding call, subject to receiving the information we need from you)
    • Keeping your website hosted, secure, and maintained
    • Providing the features included in your chosen plan
    • Responding to support requests within one working day
    • Being honest with you — including if something isn't working or if a different approach would serve you better

    7. What We Need From You

We can only build something great if you give us what we need to work with. To hold up our end, we need you to:

    • Provide accurate information about your business, services, and target customers during onboarding
    • Respond to reasonable requests for content, feedback, or approvals within a reasonable timeframe (we'll always give you at least five working days)
    • Ensure you have the rights to any images, logos, or content you provide to us for use on your website
    • Keep your payment details up to date
    • Let us know promptly if something isn't working or you're unhappy with anything — we'd far rather fix a problem than have it fester

If delays in your website going live are caused by late provision of information or content from your side, we can't be held responsible for those delays.

    8. Ownership and Intellectual Property

Your content Your content Any content you provide to us — your logo, photos, business information, copy — remains yours. You're giving us permission to use it to build and maintain your website, nothing more.

Our work Our work The design, development, and systems we create remain the intellectual property of Honeyrock.

We may use your website as a portfolio example and reference Honeyrock's involvement in building it, unless you specifically ask us not to.

Third-party platforms Third-party platforms Some features of your website run on third-party platforms. Their own terms of service apply to those elements. We'll always let you know what platforms your website uses during onboarding.

While we work hard to provide a seamless and reliable service, we cannot be held responsible for outages, changes to features, or interruptions caused by any third-party platform. In the event of any such issue, we'll communicate with you promptly and do everything within our power to resolve it as quickly as possible.

    9. Confidentiality

We treat your business information as confidential. We won't share your customer data, pricing, or business details with third parties — except where required to deliver the services (for example, passing your business details to our hosting provider).

We take data protection seriously. Our full Privacy Policy sets out how we collect, use, and store your data, and is available here.

    10. Limitation of Liability

We'll always do our best work. But we can't guarantee specific business outcomes — such as a particular number of leads, a specific search ranking, or a defined level of revenue increase. Marketing results depend on many factors outside our control, including your market, your competition, your pricing, and your own follow-up.

To the extent permitted by law:

    • Our total liability to you for any claim arising from our services is limited to the total fees you've paid to us in the three months preceding the claim
    • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost revenue, or lost business opportunity
    • We are not liable for any failure or interruption of third-party services or platforms that form part of your website

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be excluded by law.

    11. Warranties

    We warrant that:

    • We have the right to provide the services described
    • The services will be provided with reasonable skill and care
    • We will comply with applicable UK law in providing the services

    We do not warrant that:

    • The services will be entirely free from errors or interruptions (though we'll fix any issues promptly)
    • The services will achieve any specific business result

    12. Complaints

If something's not right, please tell us. Email us at hello@honeyrock.co and we'll respond within two working days. We take complaints seriously and we'd genuinely rather know about a problem than not — both because we care about doing a good job and because it helps us improve. hello@honeyrock.co and we'll respond within two working days. We take complaints seriously and we'd genuinely rather know about a problem than not — both because we care about doing a good job and because it helps us improve.

If we can't resolve a complaint to your satisfaction, you're welcome to seek independent mediation. We'll always engage in good faith.

    13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll let existing clients know by email with at least 30 days' notice. Continuing to use our services after that notice period means you accept the updated terms.

The current version of these terms is always available here and shows the date it was last updated at the top of the page.

    14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

    15. The Human Bit

We know terms and conditions are nobody's favourite reading. The short version is this: we'll do great work, be honest with you, and treat your business as if it matters — because it does. In return, we ask that you work with us in good faith, pay on time, and talk to us if something isn't right.

That's the kind of working relationship we're here to build.
